Legislative Advocacy
During each year’s legislative session, the
Warner Robins-Houston County Delegation, and state constitutional
officers, is hosted by our Chamber at a luncheon in Atlanta.
Drugs Don’t Work Program
The Warner Robins Chamber has partnered with
HODAC, Inc. to offer member businesses assistance in becoming a drug
free workplace and receive a discount on workers comp. insurance.
Eggs & Issues Breakfasts
Quarterly breakfasts designed to keep members
abreast of local & state issues. Featured speakers include
representatives from the city, county, Board of Education and Houston
County Delegation. Each program features a presentation followed by a
question-and-answer session.
Special Recognition Programs for Small Businesses & Employees
Small Business of the Quarter– recognition of an
outstanding small business in Warner Robins.
Employee of the Quarter- award recognizing an
employee for exceptional ability and service.
Leadership Warner Robins (LWR)
The Leadership Warner Robins program provides a venue for outstanding
individuals, who are recognized by their colleagues as having above
average potential for leadership within their firm, as well as their
community’s business, professional, civic or political structure.
Participants develop a greater understanding of the community’s many
centers of influence and their often complex interrelationships.
Youth Leadership Warner Robins (YLWR)
Youth Leadership Warner Robins program is designed to expose young
leaders to the elements that form a strong dynamic community and
encourages their input and creativity. It makes students aware of the
many opportunities for them to remain in Warner Robins/Houston County
after their post-secondary education.
Christmas
Parade
The Chamber’s annual Christmas Parade is held the first Saturday of
December. Each year we have marching bands, floats, dancers and more.
